The Regional Sustainable Finance and Impact Assessment Platform convened a symposium titled "Linkages between Sustainable Finance and Environmental Procedures: From Setting Up the Rules to Impact, Verification, and Reporting" in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on October 3-4, 2024.

Hosted by the Croatian Association of Experts in Nature and Environmental Protection, the symposium received support from a diverse range of institutions, including the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment and the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union; European Investment Bank; the United Nations Development Programme; the World Bank Group; and the International Sustainable Finance Centre. Furhtermore, notable contributions were made by the European Commission Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support; the European Commission Recovery and Resilience Task Force; the European Securities and Markets Authority; the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; and the International Finance Corporation.

Following the event, a team of experts drafted conclusions on the key topics discussed. After a period of public consultation, the final Conclusions document is available for download HERE.
