By registering for and/or attending the symposium “Linkages between sustainable finance and environmental procedures: from setting up the rules to impact, verification, and reporting”, ("Symposium"), each participant ("Participant" or "you") agree to be bound by, and comply with, these Terms & Conditions by RSFIA and HUSZPO (“Organizers”). It is your responsibility to read and understand these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Participation and Behavior. Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally throughout the symposium. Use of inappropriate language or disturbing, abusive or threatening behavior directed to any other symposium Participant or staff will not be tolerated. The Organizers have the right to restrict participation of any Participant that is in violation of this Policy and no refunds of registration will be granted.
  2. Admittance. The Organizers have sole discretion, without refund, to refuse access to or expel from the Symposium anyone that is deemed to be behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the symposium or any other Participant. The Organizers reserve the right to remove anyone caught sharing a registration. Those users will be removed from the session(s). Multiple violations will result in loss of all symposium access and the violator will not be granted any refund for the registration or otherwise.
  3. Registration; Tickets. The registration Fee provides each Participant entrance to the event with access to the Symposium content and features as outlined on the website. Registration is personal and may not be shared.
  4. Program: The Symposium program is subject to change without notice. For example, this may include changing, but is not limited to, the speakers, titles, date, time and/or the Venue.
  5. Payment. Registration payment is possible only by bank transfer. Payment is due within two weeks following registration to secure your registration, while registrations within two weeks prior to the Symposium opening are due upon registration. Discounts will be forfeited if payment is late.
  6. Registration Transfers. A registration may be transferred to another person at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the Symposium. Requests for transfers of Registration Fees must be made in writing. Transfer requests can be sent to Symposium Organizing Committee at This email address is being protected from spambots. We recommend completing the transfer request as early as possible to ensure the new Participant will be included in Symposium updates and networking opportunities.
  1. Registration Cancellation and Refund.
  • Cancellations before July 31, 2024: Receive an 80% refund of your registration Fee.
  • Cancellations between August 1 and September 1, 2024: Receive a 50% refund of your registration Fee.
  • Cancellations after September 1, 2024: Unfortunately, refunds are not available for cancellations submitted after this date.

Participants who qualify for cancellation will be refunded via bank transfer. Please note that the bank transfer Fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.   1. Symposium Cancellation. The Organizers reserves the right to close, alter or cancel any Symposium event, session or other items relating, directly or indirectly, to the Symposium for any reason, in its sole discretion. If the Symposium is canceled by The Organizers in its entirety, no refunds will be made and you agree to accept in complete satisfaction and discharge of all claims against The Organizers
  2. Use of Personal Information. The Organizers are committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. By registering for the Symposium and submitting your email address during the event registration process, submitting an abstract or using the Contact form, you agree to processing your data as per the “Notice on use of website data” – available at the bottom of this document.
  3. Usage of Photographic and Video Material Taken at The Organizers Events. The Organizers imposes certain restrictions on the use of multimedia at its events (e.g., photography, video, audio, online streaming, and all future mediums). Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever. The Organizers may hire professional service providers (photo, video, streaming, audio) to document and display the event experience. The Organizers may also use social media (e.g., LinedIn) to: (i) post real-time photos and videos to its social media Feeds; and (ii) display select submissions from those Feeds on its webpage. By attending the Symposium, you acknowledge and agree as follows: (a) The Organizers may edit and use footage it captures at the event for marketing and promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its business; and (b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, The Organizers disclaim all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other Participants at the event, including but not limited to claims arising from uploading of your likeness by other event Participants to social media platforms and other means of distribution.
  4. Recording Notice and Consent. In connection with your participation in the Symposium, you agree and consent that your likeness may be captured in still photo video, digital photography and other means and may be used across our programs, applications, social media platforms and displayed paper handouts at our events, including access to presentations and other activities for distribution to event Participants and those who were unable to attend and will view the recordings live or at a later date. You grant the Organizers and the sponsors of the Symposium explicit permission, to use your name and likeness in photographs, video and/or or other digital and hard copy recordings, broadcasts and/or image preservation in digital or paper-based reproductions, in any and all of its applications, sites and publications, without payment or any other consideration, and explicitly waive any and all royalties and any and all other forms of compensation. You also, by completion of the ticket purchase, release, hold harmless and indemnify the Organizers and the sponsors of the Symposium from any and all liability related to use and/or dissemination of my name, likeness and/or image.
  5. Release of Liability. In consideration of being permitted to attend the Symposium, each Participant acknowledges, appreciates and agrees to the following:

Assumption of Risk: the participation in the Symposium involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, property damage, and exposure to communicable diseases. The Participant assumes full responsibility for any and all risks associated with their participation in the Conference.

Release and Hold Harmless: the Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless the Organizers, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and exhibitors ("Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, losses, or liabilities (including reasonable attorneys' Fees) arising out of or in any way connected with Participant participation in the Symposium, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death
  • Property damage or loss
  • Exposure to communicable diseases
  • Any actions or omissions of any of the Released Parties
  1. General. The Organizers reserve the right to change, amend, add to, or remove any of the above Terms & Conditions in its sole discretion and without prior notice. If any provision contained in these Terms & Conditions should become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These Terms & Conditions apply to all Symposium Participants, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. The views expressed by any Symposium Participant, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of The Organizers. All Symposium Participants, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of all individual or corporate presentations, marketing collateral and/or advertising materials.
